Andrew McElroy
Amid the chaos of his college years, Andrew found yoga. Diving into meditation and the wisdom of yogic philosophy, he connected with a sense of peace and purpose that had eluded him for years. When the pandemic reshaped the world, his practice evolved toward asana, and he found solace in the power of movement and breath.
That passion carried him into deeper study, eventually leading to his 500-hour RYT certification. The further he went, the more he wanted to understand the practice in all its intricacy, the philosophy behind the postures, the anatomy behind the breath.
Andrew's teaching draws on a wide range of traditions, weaving in ideas, stories, metaphors, and parables so that modern lives can rest on a philosophy built from thousands of years of human knowledge and experience. The aim is simple: to help us slow down, step out of the noise, and find our eternal soul once again.
Today, Andrew teaches Meditation, Pranayama, Strength Training, Vinyasa, and Hatha. Alongside his regular classes, he leads Yoga Philosophy and History, Anatomy, and Meditation and Pranayama for Soluna Sage's 200-Hour Teacher Training.
